2017: As previously mentioned—I keep a "Reference
Bank" with all kinds of images I find on-line.

A while back I found some AWESOME 1920's
era Australian Convict "mug-shots."

Some looked more menacing than others—but this
guy was glowering at the camera—and so he made a fun
photo study (using pencil and a brown-ish tinted paper).
