Recently I've submitted digital paintings to
open calls for artists by Tohono Chul for
their Museum Exhibitions.

Last summer they were celebrating
Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday
where families and friends remember and
honor their lost loved ones.

Tohono Chul asked for images relating to that
holiday and so I did a bit of research and
created a quick sketch of the guy above
and then digitally painted it.

I call it: "Momento Maury". : )
