Jephyr Art (Artist Jeff Curtis) - 'Emiliano'

February 2024 - 'Emiliano'

While working on my last portrait of Logan,
his co-worker of his asked me to do a portrait of
her son — and sent me a coupla reference pics.

I was immediately drawn <no pun intended)
to one of him sitting in front of an old, weather- beaten
stump, on a snowy day somewhere in Northern AZ.

Recently , I wrote on one of the art forums I visit,
that I hadn't done serious portrait work in some time and have
felt a little rusty — but am looking forward to doing more
— and have a few commissions already in the works.
