'Love Is In The Air II'

Another digital painting begun life as a sketch I drew
way back in 2019 — before all our pandemic madness.

I'd been making the rounds at various coffee houses and
fast-food joints at that time — sitting and sketching for hours.

It's hard to believe how much the world has changed since then.

Anyway — it's interesting to find that sometimes when I'm
sketching in public, people will approach me to see what I'm up to
— which often leads to longer enjoyable conversations.

But sometimes I can sit somewhere for hours without
a single interaction — which then allows me to just 'people
watch' and simply observe everyone going about their
day — most utterly glued to their phones. : p

Anywho — I was at one of those big-chain coffee houses
(without buying any of their dreadful, over-priced coffee) —
struggling to finish the sketch I used for today's painting.

As I struggled — I began feeling a bit frustrated with
my lack of progress — and a young woman who worked
there walked by and stopped for a moment and
said she liked what I had up to that point.

That was just the 'lift' I needed and finished the
sketch off in fairly short order afterwards.

If you take a look at the original sketch you'll likely
note I refined it a LOT — but either way — I hope
it and this new painting will brighten your day!
